Thugs Steal Phones at Peller's Traditional Wedding

Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, alleged that during his traditional wedding in Lagos, suspected hoodlums stole mobile phones belonging to several guests. He expressed his frustration during a TikTok livestream, stating that the thefts occurred outside the venue while the ceremony was ongoing.

Peller mentioned that he has been refunding victims for their losses, having spent a significant amount replacing stolen devices. He described the situation as overwhelming, noting that the number of hoodlums, referred to as 'agberos', exceeded the number of guests.

One female guest reportedly had her phone snatched immediately upon arrival. Additionally, Peller recounted an incident involving a road accident outside the venue while he was celebrating inside.

He vowed to prevent such occurrences during his white wedding scheduled for August 8, which will be a private event with enhanced security measures. The traditional wedding, tagged #JP2026, took place on Saturday and attracted numerous celebrities and lavish gifts.
