Timi Frank Urges Obasanjo to Stop Blaming Atiku

Timi Frank, a political figure, issued a statement urging former President Olusegun Obasanjo to cease blaming Atiku Abubakar during election years. Frank described Obasanjo's actions as a shameful evasion of responsibility for his administration's record from 1999 to 2007.

He characterized Obasanjo's attacks on Atiku as an "outdated blackmail pattern" that Nigerians are tired of. Frank asserted that Atiku played a crucial role in the successes of the Obasanjo administration by assembling key professionals.

He challenged Obasanjo to accept accountability for both the achievements and failures of his government, including controversial military operations in Odi and Zaki Biam. Frank accused Obasanjo of reviving allegations against Atiku predictably every four years and urged him to promote his preferred candidate for the 2027 election instead of resorting to smear tactics.

He concluded by stating that Nigerians are no longer interested in Obasanjo's rhetoric and called for fresh ideas.
