Wike Allocates Land to Ambassadors in Abuja for Investment

On Wednesday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, disclosed that land has been allocated to ambassadors designate in Abuja. This initiative reflects the administration's commitment to deepening diplomatic engagement and enhancing Nigeria's global presence.

Wike urged the ambassadors to complement initiatives aimed at attracting foreign investment, stressing the critical role of diplomacy in advancing Nigeria's economic agenda. He noted that the President's international engagements are geared towards boosting investor confidence and reinforcing efforts to project Nigeria as a viable investment destination.

Wike dismissed concerns regarding Nigeria's political direction, asserting that the country remains a multi-party democracy with no plans to become a one-party state. He highlighted ongoing developments in the Federal Capital Territory, including infrastructure expansion, and called on ambassadors to attract investment in key sectors such as agriculture and waste management, particularly in the Gwagwalada and Kwali areas, which have significant untapped agricultural potential.
