Tinubu, Diri, Fubara to Attend Walson-Jack's Book Launch

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside Governors Duoye Diri of Bayelsa and Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, is set to attend the launch of two books by Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. The event will take place in Abuja on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The books, titled ‘I Planted: A Memoir of Purposeful Service’ and ‘Beyond the Mandate: A Memoir on Leadership, Legacy, & Labour of Public Service,’ recount Walson-Jack’s experiences as a public servant at both state and federal levels. The launch will also feature prominent figures such as Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume.

The books will be reviewed by Dr. Joe Abah, former director-general of the Bureau for Public Service Reforms, and have received positive reviews from notable public policy analysts and business leaders, including Prof. Tunji Olaopa and George Etomi.
