Didi Walson-Jack's Memoirs to Launch in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu, alongside Governors Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State and Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, is set to attend the presentation of two books by Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. The event will take place in Abuja on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The books, titled ‘I Planted: A Memoir of Purposeful Service’ and ‘Beyond the Mandate: A Memoir on Leadership, Legacy, & Labour of Public Service,’ recount Walson-Jack’s experiences as a public servant. The presentation will also feature prominent figures such as Senator Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and other state governors, ministers, and members of the diplomatic corps.

The books are sequels to her first autobiography and will be reviewed by Dr. Joe Abah, former Director-General of the Bureau for Public Service Reforms. They have received positive reviews from notable public policy analysts and business leaders, emphasizing their insights into public service and leadership.
