Tinubu Orders Security Agencies to Hunt Down Terrorists After 30 Killed in Niger Market Attack

Bola Tinubu, a prominent Nigerian figure, has directed security agencies to track and apprehend terrorists who attacked and killed 30 people at Kasuwan Daji market in Niger State. The terrorists also kidnapped individuals and set the market ablaze.

Tinubu's order includes the Ministry of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, Inspector General of Police, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS). The operation aims to swiftly bring the terrorists to justice and rescue abducted victims.

Additionally, the Nigerian military has been instructed to enhance operations in vulnerable communities near forests, known as hideouts for criminal elements. The Defence Minister, Christoph Musa, has also issued orders to redeploy soldiers to intensify the fight against insurgency in various states like Borno.

The recent attack in Niger State adds to the ongoing security challenges faced by Nigeria.
