Tinubu Government Launches ₦10 Billion Housing Loan Scheme

The Tinubu administration has unveiled a ₦10 billion housing loan scheme designed to enhance access to home ownership for civil servants throughout Nigeria. This initiative was disclosed by Walson Jack, the head of the civil service, during a press briefing in Abuja.

Jack emphasized the importance of home ownership in improving worker morale and stabilizing efficiency within the civil service. She described the housing scheme as a reflection of the administration's broader governance philosophy, extending beyond mere welfare initiatives.

Additionally, Jack highlighted ongoing efforts to modernize public service, including plans to transition to a digital efficiency system. She reaffirmed her commitment to achieving results through collaboration across government institutions, listing various agencies involved in the reform process, such as the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Budget Office, and the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

Jack urged ministries and agencies to maintain a collaborative approach in governance.
