Tinubu Celebrates Ismaeel Ahmed's CNG Initiative on Birthday

On Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu issued a statement congratulating Ismaeel Ahmed, the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), on his birthday. Tinubu commended Ahmed's contributions to public service and his role in mobilizing youth for good governance.

The CNG initiative aims to provide affordable and sustainable energy for transportation, supporting Nigeria's transition to cleaner energy alternatives and reducing reliance on conventional fossil fuels. Tinubu highlighted Ahmed's dedication as an emerging leader and his steadfast commitment to strengthening political movements, particularly during his tenure as the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He also noted Ahmed's significant contributions to expanding youth participation in the party and grassroots engagement across Nigeria. Furthermore, Tinubu acknowledged Ahmed's previous roles as Senior Special Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Investment and as the Secretary of Policy Strategy for the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign during the 2023 general elections.
