Tinubu Appoints Obahiagbon and Namdas to Key Roles

President Bola Tinubu approved several appointments, including Patrick Obahiagbon as Executive Director of Strategy and Commercial at the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) and Abdulrazak Namdas as Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA). The announcement was made on Friday.

Obahiagbon replaces Engin Omoregi Ogbeid Ihama, who resigned to pursue political ambitions in Edo State. Obahiagbon is a seasoned politician and former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, known for his eloquence in public speaking.

His new role will involve providing strategic direction for the company's commercial operations to improve electricity generation and power infrastructure across Nigeria. Namdas succeeds Dr.

Dakorinama Alabo Georg, who resigned to contest for an electoral position in his home state. Namdas, a former member of the House of Representatives for the Ganye, Jada, Mayo Belwa, and Toungo Federal Constituency in Adamawa State, has extensive experience in journalism and public relations.

The appointments are expected to strengthen leadership and improve service delivery within the respective agencies.
