Tinubu Inaugurates Key Road Project in Abuja

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the main carriageway of the Outer Southern Expressway link road at the junction of Ring Road 1 and Ring Road 2 in the Federal Capital Territory. He described the project as part of efforts to expand infrastructure and drive economic development in the capital.

During the event, Tinubu, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, reiterated the administration's focus on delivering projects that translate into visible improvements for citizens. He emphasized that his administration does not promise shortcuts but is committed to hard work and tangible results.

The Outer Southern Expressway project includes previously completed sections, with the first stage inaugurated in June 2024. Tinubu commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his leadership and commitment to project delivery.

The new road is expected to significantly reduce congestion and improve economic efficiency in Abuja, benefiting residents and businesses alike.
