Tinubu Advocates Tax Compliance for FCT Infrastructure

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of tax compliance for infrastructure development in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). During the inauguration of the completed Arterial Road N5, which connects Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III in Abuja's Dape District, he urged residents and businesses to fulfill their tax obligations, including land payments and ground rent.

Tinubu stated that tax compliance would empower the FCT Administration to build roads and improve infrastructure. He reiterated his administration's commitment to completing critical infrastructure projects, noting that the project was awarded in October 2024 and is expected to be completed within the stipulated timeline.

The road project aims to enhance access to the Idu Industrial District and create economic opportunities. Tinubu praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his efforts in infrastructure delivery and highlighted the government's commitment to compensating property owners affected by the projects.
