Atiku Claims Tinubu is 90, Vows to Prove in Court

During an interview with BBC Hausa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claimed that President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old, stating he has evidence to prove this and will present it in court. Atiku dismissed concerns regarding his own age, asserting he remains healthy and capable of serving as president in the 2027 elections.

In response, Reno Omokri, the Ambassador-designate of Nigeria to Mexico, criticized Atiku's claim, providing a photograph of Tinubu from 1996 as evidence against the allegation. The Presidency also countered Atiku's comments regarding border policies, stating that Nigeria's land borders were reopened in March 2024.

Atiku further criticized Tinubu's administration for failing to provide affordable transportation and adequate fuel prices, labeling the government's transportation policy as confused and inadequate.
