SDP's Adebayo Accuses Tinubu of Vote Manipulation

Adebayo's comments were made in the context of the upcoming 2027 general elections, as the SDP prepares for the polls.

He referenced historical political figures such as Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, and Nnamdi Azikiwe, emphasizing the importance of engaging with the populace during campaigns. Adebayo criticized the current electoral process, suggesting that Tinubu's role as INEC chairman allows him undue influence over the electoral outcomes, and he called for a return to grassroots campaigning, reminiscent of earlier political practices in Nigeria.
