APC to Focus on Tinubu's Achievements for 2027 Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its 2027 presidential campaign will emphasize the performance of President Bola Tinubu's administration rather than engaging in personal attacks against political opponents. Senator Abdulazeez Yari, the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, made this declaration in Gusau, Zamfara State, after a closed-door meeting with Governor Dauda Lawal and traditional rulers on Wednesday.

Yari stated that the campaign would highlight the achievements of the Tinubu administration and outline future plans if re-elected, focusing on issues rather than promises or personal attacks. He expressed confidence in Nigeria's unity despite past challenges.

Yari praised Tinubu's commitment to the country's development, asserting that he is a leader who genuinely loves Nigeria. The meeting aimed to secure the support of traditional rulers, who play a vital role in society, as Yari seeks their backing for the campaign.
