Gololo Predicts Tinubu's 2027 Election Setback

Haruna Gololo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will not secure a second term in the 2027 election, potentially finishing third or fourth. Gololo expressed his concerns during an interview with The Whistler, stating that Tinubu has not accomplished enough during his first term to warrant re-election.

He specifically criticized Tinubu's appointments, claiming they predominantly favor individuals from Lagos and Ogun states, neglecting other regions. Gololo also highlighted issues with budget implementation and the military's protests over pension payments, indicating a broader financial crisis.

He asserted that Tinubu has failed to fulfill several campaign promises, which undermines his eligibility for a second term. Gololo mentioned that there is significant mobilization against Tinubu's presidency in the north, although he refrained from disclosing specific strategies.

He emphasized that the voting process will ultimately determine the election outcome.
