Tinubu Appoints Ibrahim Ida as CAC Chairman, Nominates NPCs

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Ibrahim Ida as the Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and nominated seven individuals to serve as National Population Commissioners (NPC).

The nominees represent various states, including Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi from Ekiti State, Nasiru Muazu from Zamfara State, Usman Abubakar Tuggar from Bauchi State, Dr. Isaka Alada Yahaya from Kwara State, Professor Sadiq Isah Radda from Katsina State, Suleiman Umar from Jigawa State, and Hon.

Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo from Sokoto State. These appointments are intended to complement the federal commission, which has already been sworn in, pending confirmation by the National Assembly.

Additionally, President Tinubu confirmed the appointment of Dr. Yusuf Moham as the Chairman of the Federal Polytechnic in Kaltungo, and Bala Moham Bello as Special Adviser on Political Economy.

Bello holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and previously served as Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank from 2017 to 2022. Tinubu expressed confidence in the capabilities of the appointees to enhance governance and improve the lives of Nigerians.
