Tinubu Orders Service Chiefs to Maiduguri After Attacks

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed service chiefs to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno State, in response to a series of bomb attacks that led to the loss of 20 lives and injuries to over 100 individuals. The attacks, which are suspected to be carried out by Boko Haram terrorists, occurred simultaneously around 7:25 PM on a Monday.

This tragic incident has prompted Tinubu to express his condolences to the victims and their families while reaffirming Nigeria's resilience against terrorism. He emphasized that these acts of terror are desperate attempts by criminal elements to instill fear.

The President commended the courage of the armed forces and security agencies, stating that operations against these criminal elements would be intensified. He also mentioned that additional equipment and support would be provided to enhance the capabilities of security forces.

Tinubu's actions come shortly after a security meeting with leaders of security and intelligence agencies.
