Tinubu Outperforms Past Presidents in First Term, Says APC

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has outperformed all of Nigeria's democratically elected presidents during their first terms in office. In an interview on Channels Television, Morka highlighted that upon Tinubu's assumption of office in 2023, Nigeria's economy was in a "mess," but has since experienced a turnaround due to the APC-led government's policies.

Morka emphasized that the records of Tinubu's administration "speak for themselves." He described Tinubu's predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, as a "stopgap president," who maintained stability in the country after 16 years of governance by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Morka claimed that Tinubu's performance has garnered commendation even from critics, stating that Nigeria has "come out of the woods" on a macroeconomic level under his leadership.
