Tinubu Pledges Completion of National Defence College Permanent Site Over Strategic Importance

President Bola Tinubu has pledged to complete the permanent site of the National Defence College (NDC) to enhance strategic training for Nigeria and its allies. Speaking at the graduation of 99 participants from NDC Course 33 in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the government's commitment to evolving the college into a defense postgraduate university.

The graduating set included senior officers from the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, and various ministries, departments, and agencies, as well as participants from allied countries. Tinubu directed the college commandant to collaborate with the Minister of Defence to develop a clear strategy for upgrading the facility in Piwoyi.

He urged the graduating officers to embody excellence, courage, patriotism, and integrity, while encouraging international participants to strengthen bonds of cooperation with Nigeria. Tinubu also commended the college management and faculty for producing a new set of strategic leaders after a rigorous 48-week training program.
