Tinubu Ends Neglect of FCT Satellite Towns with Water Project

President Bola Tinubu, during the inauguration of a massive water supply network linking Karu, Orozo, Jikwoyi, and Kurudu in Abuja, declared an end to the neglect of satellite towns in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to delivering essential services, stating that the government would no longer confine its promises to boardroom discussions.

The project, which includes a 194-kilometer secondary and tertiary pipeline network, aims to provide treated, safe potable water directly to the communities. Tinubu commended the leadership of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his efforts in executing the project and stressed the importance of clean water for health and economic progress.

He also urged the safeguarding of the infrastructure against vandalism and illegal connections. The president announced plans to replicate similar interventions in the Bwari area council, reinforcing the administration's dedication to urban renewal and rural integration.
