Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Eid Celebrations in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu departed Lagos for Abuja on Wednesday, following the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. His presidential aircraft took off from Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 6:44 PM.

He was seen off by prominent government officials, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat. During the Eid festivities, Tinubu observed prayers at Dodan Barracks, where he interacted with a cross-section of political and economic leaders.

Notable attendees included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abba, along with several state governors and political stakeholders from across the country. Prominent figures from the private sector, including Aliko Dangote, were also present.

The event aimed to strengthen national cohesion and foster collaboration across political and economic lines.
