Tinubu Requests Senate Confirmation for Minister Tegbe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally sought the Senate's confirmation of Tegbe as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This request was made through a letter read during a plenary session on Tuesday.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio assured that the request would receive immediate attention and would subsequently be referred to the Committee of the Whole for further legislative action. Tegbe is recognized as a fiscal and economic reform expert with 35 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.

He previously served as a senior partner and head of advisory services at KPMG Africa, where he led initiatives in fiscal policy reform. The nomination comes following the resignation of Adebayo Adelabu, who left his position as Minister of Power to pursue a governorship ambition in Oyo State.
