Tinubu Reveals Disagreements with Buhari Over APC Symbol Choice

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu revealed disagreements with late former President Muhammadu Buhari over the choice of the party symbol during the formative years of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Tinubu described Buhari as stubborn and recalled clashes over the party symbol, with Buhari insisting on a broom.

Despite the disagreements, a compromise was reached, leading to the merger of different political factions into the APC in 2013. The revelation came during a meeting with members of the Buhari Organisation led by former Nasarawa State governor, Senator Tanko, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
