Tinubu Holds Security Meeting with Top Chiefs in Abuja

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu convened a security meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, which included the entire military command and intelligence leadership. The meeting was attended by Major General Adeyinka Famadewa (Retd), who is the special advisor on homeland security, although he has not yet received a formal appointment.

The agenda focused on a comprehensive review of the security situation in the country across several operational theaters. The closed-door engagement lasted for two hours, and a photograph was released by the State House.

Present at the meeting were key figures including Nuhu Ribadu (National Security Advisor), General Christoph Musa (Minister of Defence), General Olufemi Oluyede (Chief of Army Staff), Lieutenant General Waidi Isa (Chief of Defence Intelligence), Lieutenant General Emmanuel Undiandey (Director General of the Department of State Services), Adeola Ajayi (Director General of the National Intelligence Agency), Moha Mohammed (Special Advisor to the President on Homeland Security), and Kayode Egbetokun (Inspector General of Police).
