RHGN Launches Campaign for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

The Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), a pro-Tinubu re-election support group, officially launched its national campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Jos, Plateau State. The event featured the formal inauguration of the Plateau State Executive Council and its Local Government Coordinators.

Franklin Ngoforo, Deputy Leader of RHGN, announced that the ceremony would start at 10:00 a.m. and is part of a broader strategy to establish organizational structures across Nigeria. The group, led by National Leader and Convener Hon. Calistus Anyanwu, aims to build grassroots support by focusing on the administration's policy achievements, including the removal of fuel subsidy and tax reforms.

Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwada, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), served as Chief Host, emphasizing the alignment of RHGN's efforts with the party's political objectives. The Plateau chapter plans to coordinate extensive grassroots outreach and mobilization ahead of the elections.
