Tinubu Wins Delta APC Presidential Primary with 407,646 Votes

Bola Tinubu emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held in Delta State, garnering a total of 407,646 votes. The results were announced on Saturday at the APC state secretariat in Asaba by the Delta State Governor, Rt.

Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

He disclosed that the total number of registered APC members in the state was 407,815, with 407,646 members accredited to participate in the exercise. Notably, Tinubu's opponent, Stanlei Osifo, received zero votes during the primary, which was conducted across 270 wards in Delta State.

Governor Oborevwori commended the APC members for their large turnout and participation, emphasizing that the outcome demonstrated the party's strength in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections. He expressed optimism about the APC's future electoral success, citing achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security as key factors for voter support.
