Tinubu Wins Imo APC Presidential Primary with 582,823 Votes

Bola Tinubu achieved a significant victory in the Imo APC presidential primary, polling 582,823 votes out of a total of 583,653 votes cast. Governor Hope Uzodimma declared the results in Owerri, noting that Tinubu's closest opponent, Tund Osifo, received only 103 votes.

Uzodimma reported that the results were compiled from 305 wards across 27 local government areas in Imo State. He praised the peaceful conduct of the exercise and stated that he would forward the collated results to the national headquarters in Abuja for further processing and final declaration.

Uzodimma urged unregistered supporters to join the APC to enhance the party's membership strength, aiming to grow it to millions. He expressed optimism that Tinubu deserves a second term, citing the foundations laid for the country's economic prosperity and the need to overcome poverty and economic hardship under the current administration.
