Tinubu's Lifestyle Defended by NRS Chairman Adedeji

Zacch Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's lifestyle during an interview on Channels Television. Adedeji stated that Tinubu walks to his office and only eats once a day, dismissing allegations of an extravagant lifestyle.

He made these comments while responding to journalist Seun Okinbaloye's questions regarding the lifestyles of political office holders in light of Nigeria's economic difficulties. Adedeji claimed that Tinubu only uses a vehicle when traveling to the airport and has not left Nigeria in the past three months.

He also addressed concerns about the number of Escalades in Tinubu's convoy, arguing that the President can afford such vehicles and should not be criticized for their use. Adedeji emphasized that Tinubu has not been seen at parties or on holidays, reinforcing the notion that he is dedicated to his work.
