Tinubu's Re-election Campaign Boosted by City Boy Movement

During the launch of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Kano on Monday, Minister Mahmud stated that there is "no vacancy in the Villa till 2031," reinforcing support for President Tinubu's re-election and the APC's continued dominance. She highlighted the importance of mobilizing Nigeria's youth, who make up 60 to 70 percent of the population, and emphasized that their involvement is crucial for success.

Mahmud cited Tinubu's reforms and initiatives, such as the student loan scheme (NELFUND), as evidence of his achievements that will resonate during the general elections. The CBM aims to expand its membership to 10 million nationwide, with Director-General Francis Oluwatosin Shoga urging members to engage communities to promote Tinubu's "renewed Hope Agenda." Kano's CBM Coordinator, Nasir Bala Ja’oji, reported that the state chapter has registered 189,111 members, leading the membership drive.

Muhammad Jamo Yusuf from the CBM National Working Committee acknowledged the APC's support for such initiatives and underscored the need for continuity in Tinubu's economic reforms.
