APC Assures Governance Beyond 2031 Under Tinubu

Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), stated that the APC will continue to govern Nigeria beyond 2031, bolstered by the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Yari made these remarks on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, upon his return from a foreign trip.

He expressed confidence that Tinubu would secure victory in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the party's track record of keeping promises made to the electorate. Yari highlighted that the APC's appeal to voters hinges on its ability to fulfill commitments made during campaigns.

He also mentioned that the campaign council, recently unveiled by the Presidency, includes key figures such as Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Prof Nentawe Yilwatda. Despite criticism from opposition members regarding the council's composition, Yari assured Nigerians of the party's dedication to its promises and prayed for Tinubu's wisdom in leadership.
