Tinubu's Administration Gains Support from Abuja Indigenes

In an interview, Simon Baba Yerima, the Kpaduma II community leader in Abuja, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration for its commitment to fulfilling promises made to the indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He noted that the current administration has demonstrated a genuine effort towards development, leading to increased enthusiasm among the populace and a reduction in voter apathy.

Yerima highlighted significant improvements in security and infrastructure, particularly in rural areas, which have enhanced access for farmers to markets. He also mentioned the administration's engagement with community leaders through town hall meetings, addressing concerns about land rights and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Additionally, he called for the upgrading of the Garki chiefdom and reforms in traditional leadership structures to promote peace and development. Yerima emphasized the need for continued focus on youth empowerment and job opportunities, urging collaboration between the government and local authorities to tackle challenges faced by women and youth in education and employment.
