Bwala Claims Nigeria's Insecurity Not Worsening Amid Attacks

Bwala, an aide to President Tinubu, has stated that insecurity in Nigeria is not worsening, despite a recent surge in terrorist attacks, including an incident where approximately 100 women and children were abducted in the Ngosh community of Gwoza Local Government Area. This attack also resulted in the death of the town's chief imam and several community elders.

Bwala acknowledged the ongoing insecurity but insisted that the Nigerian government is making significant efforts to address the situation. He highlighted that no country is completely free from insecurity and criticized Western media for portraying Nigeria negatively.

Bwala mentioned that the government has implemented initiatives such as the Safe School Initiative to protect students and relocate vulnerable communities to safer locations. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to tackling the evolving security challenges, which have been exacerbated by economic crimes and the rise of kidnappings.
