Tinubu’s Aviation Team Targets Lasting Fix for Airport Infrastructure Gaps — Air Peace Boss

He praised the Federal Government's decision to rebuild Lagos airport, emphasizing the need for modern transit operations to enhance passenger experience and create revenue opportunities. Onyema believes that with the right infrastructure in place, Nigerian carriers could rival the top airlines in Africa within the next decade.

The planned reforms are expected to not only improve the passenger experience but also reduce operational inefficiencies and costs. Industry experts at the 29th League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents Annual Conference in Lagos foresee a major transformation in the aviation sector under President Bola Tinubu's administration, aiming to close the gap in airport infrastructure and position Nigeria as a leading aviation hub in Africa.
