Tinubu's Daughter Threatens Protest Over APC Primaries

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of Bola Tinubu, threatened to organize protests regarding the outcomes of the recently held All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Lagos State, alleging that the process was skewed to favor the Justice Forum bloc. During a meeting with market leaders at Alausa, Ikeja, she claimed that the results published for the Lagos APC constituencies, including Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Agege Constituency 2, and Ojokoro Constituency, were manipulated.

The Lagos APC chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, announced that 24 candidates emerged for the House of Representatives ticket and 40 candidates for the Lagos State House of Assembly. Tinubu-Ojo called for an urgent investigation into the disputes surrounding the primaries, warning that failure to address grievances could destabilize the party's internal cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She specifically mentioned candidates such as Hon. Sey Oladejo and Mutiu Olaide-Ebo, asserting that their mandates were not altered and that the party must act swiftly to restore confidence among stakeholders.
