Tinubu-Ojo Demands Action Over Lagos APC Primaries Dispute

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, during a meeting with market leaders in Alausa, Ikeja, expressed her dissatisfaction with the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Lagos State, claiming the process was skewed in favor of the Justice Forum bloc. She specifically pointed out that the results published for the Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Agege Constituency 2, and Ojokoro Constituency were manipulated.

Tinubu-Ojo urged APC leaders at both state and national levels to investigate the disputed primaries, warning that failure to address these issues could deepen internal tensions within the party. She cited specific candidates, including Sey Oladejo and Mutiu Olaide-Olaibo, as having won their mandates but not being recognized.

Tinubu-Ojo emphasized the need for swift intervention from party leadership to restore confidence among stakeholders and highlighted that unresolved grievances could destabilize the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting Obafemi Hamzat, the APC gubernatorial candidate, and insisted that traders deserve greater political recognition.
