Tinubu's Minister Updates on Nationwide Power Outage, Restoration Efforts Underway

The Minister of Power, under Tinubu's leadership, addresses the recent nationwide power outage caused by a temporary shortfall in power generation, particularly due to the explosion of the Escravos-Lagos gas pipeline. Stakeholders, including NISO, TCN, Genco, and Disco, are working to repair the vandalized pipeline within 24-48 hours to resume gas supply.

IBEDC also apologizes for the inconvenience caused by intermittent power supply outages in Oyo, Kwara, Ogun, and Osun states. The outage has affected areas like Aba, disrupting commercial activities.

Efforts are intensified to ensure timely restoration of power supply.
