Tipper Truck Accident Claims Life of Nine-Year-Old Girl

A tragic incident occurred in Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, where a nine-year-old girl was crushed to death by an unregistered Mercedes Benz tipper truck. The accident happened around Supar Junction on Supar Road.

The Ondo State Police Command, represented by DSP Abayomi Jimoh, confirmed the incident and stated that the girl was immediately rushed to the hospital but was sadly pronounced dead by medical personnel. The driver of the tipper truck has been arrested, and the vehicle has been recovered for inspection.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. DSP Jimoh expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and assured the public that justice will be served.

He urged motorists to exercise due care and adhere strictly to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies in the future.
