Tolani Baj Accuses Ex-Employee of N6M Theft

Tolani Baj publicly accused her former employee, Precious Akiyemi Deborah, of stealing DJ controllers valued at over N6 million from her DJ Academy. Akiyemi was hired in late April 2026 as an executive assistant, responsible for supervising students and managing academy operations.

After receiving funds to purchase four DJ controllers from Alaba market, Akiyemi began exhibiting unprofessional behavior, including frequent sick calls and requests for salary advances. During graduation week, it was discovered that three controllers were missing, with Akiyemi claiming she had removed them on Baj's instructions, which Baj denied.

Akiyemi later admitted to having the controllers at her home but failed to return them. Screenshots revealed she contacted a DJ about renting similar controllers and attempted to sell three of them back to the vendor.

Police were called, leading to the arrest of two individuals who purchased the controllers from Akiyemi, with one controller recovered. Akiyemi remains at large, and Baj is seeking information on her whereabouts.
