Tompolo Launches Campaign Initiative for Tinubu in Katsina

Tompolo, the founder and convener of a political movement, initiated a campaign in Katsina, Nigeria, over the weekend, where he inaugurated 34 local government coordinators and presented 34 campaign vehicles at the People’s Square. Represented by High Chief Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, Tompolo emphasized the trust and confidence between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Katsina, urging grassroots engagement to promote Tinubu’s administration.

Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda assured Tinubu of the state's support for his 2027 presidential re-election bid, highlighting that all elected officials in Katsina are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Radda noted the historical ties between Tinubu and Katsina, recalling Tinubu's role in the emergence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi, the state coordinator of the Renewed Hope movement, reiterated the APC's unity across Katsina's 361 wards and 34 local government areas, promising intensified grassroots mobilization ahead of the elections.
