Radda Promises Katsina Votes for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina state assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the state's commitment to mobilizing support for his re-election in the 2027 presidential elections. This assurance was given during the flag-off and inauguration of the Katsina state structure of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement at People’s Square, Katsina.

Radda expressed gratitude to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, for selecting Katsina as the first northern state for the initiative's launch. He emphasized that Katsina is a strong base for the All Progressives Congress (APC), with all elected officials in the state being APC members and maintaining a united structure across the 34 local government areas.

Radda traced the political ties between President Tinubu and Katsina to historical connections with northern leaders, recalling Tinubu's role in the emergence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari from Daura in 2015 and the longstanding relationship with the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua.
