Tragic Family Deaths in Rivers State Spark Police Investigation

A family of six, including parents and children, was found dead in Ogal Community, Rivers State. The victims were identified as Theophilu Obel, Eunic Obel, Saka Obel, Peac Obel, Nyimenka Obel, and Abel Nwaka Ag.

The River State Police Command launched an investigation into the sudden and unnatural deaths, suspecting carbon monoxide poisoning. The incident was discovered after a distress call from a relative.

Preliminary investigations suggest the victims may have died from inhaling generator fumes.
