Awele Elumelu Appointed as Transcorp Hotels Plc Board Chair

Transcorp Hotels Plc has announced the appointment of Awele Elumelu as the new board chair, effective January 1, 2026, following the retirement of current chair, Emmanuel N. Nnorom.

Elumelu, who currently chairs Avon Healthcare Limited and Avon HMO Nigeria, has a background in healthcare and business, having served in various leadership roles in the industry. She is a medical doctor with experience in clinics in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, and has received executive education from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School and IMD Switzerland.
