Transcorp Power Proposes Maryam Bala Shehu as Director

Transcorp Power Plc has announced the proposal of Maryam Bala Shehu as an independent non-executive director on the company’s board, as stated in a release on the Nigeria Exchange Group (NGX). Maryam Bala Shehu is a senior executive in the energy sector with over three decades of experience.

Her background includes significant leadership positions within TotalEnergies S.A.’s exploration and production subsidiaries in Nigeria, as well as a secondment to Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG). Additionally, she possesses extensive board and corporate governance experience, having served as both a Board Member and Alternate Board Member of the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria (GACN).
