Transcorp Achieves N179.5bn Profit in FY2025 Earnings

Transcorp announced its audited financial results for FY2025, showcasing a remarkable performance with a profit before tax of N179.5 billion, marking a 31% increase from N136.7 billion in FY2024. Total revenue reached N544 billion, up 33% from N408 billion the previous year.

For the first time in its history, the group's total assets surpassed N1 trillion, reaching N1.002 trillion, while shareholders' funds grew by 47% to N353.4 billion. The company's gross profit margin remained robust at 50.5%, attributed to operational efficiency and cost discipline.

The power segment, particularly Transcorp Power, saw a 38% revenue increase to N483.97 billion, driven by improved generation capacity. Transcorp Hotels PLC also reported a 38% rise in revenue to N97.04 billion.

Chairman Toni O. Elumelu emphasized the strength of the group's diversified portfolio and its commitment to Nigeria's long-term prospects.

Group CEO Dr. Owen Omogiafo noted the milestone of crossing N1 trillion in assets as a defining moment for the conglomerate.
