Liam Delap Set for Transfer to Nottingham Forest

Liam Delap, currently a striker for Chelsea, is reportedly set to leave Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window to join Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest. According to The Telegraph, Nottingham Forest has shown interest in signing the 23-year-old after failing to secure his transfer last year.

The club's new manager, Oliver Glasner, is an admirer of Delap, who previously played for Ipswich Town. Nottingham Forest is looking for a powerful and fast attacker who can score double figures to complement Chris Wood for the 2026/27 season.

Since joining Chelsea in 2025, Delap has not made a significant impact, and it remains uncertain whether he will depart from Xabi Alonso's side.
