Everton Signs Folarin Balogun from AS Monaco for €50M

Everton has reached an agreement with AS Monaco to sign United States international striker Folarin Balogun in a deal worth up to €50 million. The Premier League club will pay a fixed fee of €45 million for the 25-year-old, with an additional €5 million available in performance-related add-ons.

The agreement includes a sell-on clause, allowing Monaco to benefit from any future transfer involving Balogun. This move marks Balogun's return to the Premier League, where he began his career at Arsenal before moving to Monaco for more first-team opportunities.

He is expected to replace Beto, who has transferred to Fiorentina in Italy. While the clubs have agreed on the transfer fee, negotiations regarding Balogun's personal terms are still ongoing.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the club-to-club agreement and noted that discussions about Balogun's contract are the final step to complete the transfer.
