Stade Reims Signs Nigerian Youngster Godwin Itotomi

French Ligue 2 club Stade Reims has officially announced the signing of Nigerian youngster Godwin Itotomi. The 18-year-old centre-back joined Stade Reims on loan from Nigerian academy Grassrunners FC, with an option for the club to purchase him outright.

Itotomi will begin his tenure with the club’s youth team, where he is anticipated to develop and eventually progress to the first team. His signing follows a successful trial period during which he showcased his skills in matches against notable teams, including Paris Saint-Germain and Eintracht Frankfurt.

His impressive performances during these matches earned him a spot in the reserve squad, leading to the contract offer from Stade Reims.
