Man United Offered Chance to Sign Tosin Adarabioyo

Manchester United has received the chance to sign Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of the transfer deadline. United has primarily focused on strengthening their central midfield with the signings of Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos, and Carlos Baleba from rival Premier League clubs.

However, following a 2-0 loss to Hull City on the opening weekend, they may look to enhance other positions in their squad. Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs reported that United is considering Adarabioyo as a rotational option for manager Michael Carrick's team.

The 28-year-old defender has made 38 Premier League appearances since joining Chelsea from Fulham on a free transfer in 2024. Notably, Adarabioyo was not included in Chelsea's matchday squad for their 3-2 victory over Fulham.

He was previously on the verge of joining United in 2024 but opted for Chelsea instead. Chelsea has bolstered their center-back options this summer by signing Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace for £52 million and is close to signing young Atalanta defender Honest Ahanor for approximately £30 million.
