Manchester United Eyes Wilfred Ndidi as Casemiro Replacement

Manchester United has renewed its interest in Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, currently playing for Besiktas, as a potential replacement for Casemiro. The Red Devils are facing competition from Hull City and a Saudi Pro League club for Ndidi's signature.

Ndidi, 29, has established himself in the Turkish Super Lig, making 31 appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. His future at Besiktas is uncertain following a managerial change, and the club is open to offers, valuing him at £8 million.

Manchester United's interest in Ndidi first emerged last summer when he sought to leave Leicester City, but that move did not materialize. Ndidi has spent eight years at Leicester City, where he made 200 appearances and helped the team win the FA Cup and Community Shield.

If he joins Manchester United, he would become the second Nigerian player to represent the club, following Odion Ighalo.
