Transport Workers Back Dapo Abiodun for Ogun East Senate

Transport workers, represented by Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun, have praised Dapo Abiodun's emergence as the APC consensus candidate for the Ogun East senatorial seat ahead of the 2027 elections. Apelogun stated that Abiodun's pragmatic leadership over the past seven years has instilled hope among the people.

He emphasized that Abiodun's track record in infrastructure development and economic growth makes him an ideal representative for Ogun East. The endorsement came during a major stakeholders' meeting held in Ijebu Ode, which included members of the governor's advisory council and former local government chairmen.

Lekan Mustapha, a former Ogun East senator, also endorsed Abiodun, citing his strong character and intellect. The APC's decision to field Abiodun as their candidate reflects a unified approach to the upcoming elections, with assurances of support from various party members and stakeholders.
